The Swallowed Sun
Findon was a small fishing village located at the mouth of a small river, known locally as “The Wash”, which runs east/west from the forest to the sea. It was in all respects very similar to Keflavik, eking out the same subsistence living from simple farming and a heavy emphasis on fishing.
Once or twice a year, Findon hosted a festival that attracted many from both Keflavik and Crimond (to the south). The three villages met to discuss trade, regional concerns, and hold dances and feasts to celebrate another survived winter.
After the past harsh winter, Findon became the site of the new settlement of Mindvikorjorn, combining the populations of Findon, Keflavik, and Crimond.
