Deities:
The area’s oldest faith is a combination of the nature-spirit veneration of the ancient druids and honoring a group of figures known as the Tuath Dé. They are not worshipped individually, but rather as a pantheon, with clerics selecting domains to represent which members of the pantheon particularly favor them or they particularly venerate. The pantheon is very large, with dozens of gods and goddesses. Chief among them are the following:

  • Silvanus (Nature)
  • Brigantia (Life)
  • Arawn (Death)
  • Belenus (Light)
  • Aengus (Trickery)
  • Oghma (Knowledge)
  • Manannan (Tempest)
  • Morrigan (War)

Over the centuries, raiders from a land across the sea have mingled with the native population, bringing with them another faith. These sea raiders venerate a single all-powerful, many-aspected god named Wotan. Clerics of Wotan select two of his aspects to serve most closely. Legends maintain that Wotan has over 1,000 names, but the most common aspects and their domains are as follows:

  • Fjorgyn (Nature)
  • Alfodr (Life)
  • Svafnir (Death)
  • Baleyg (Light)
  • Grimnir (Trickery)
  • Fjolnir (Knowledge)
  • Vidrir (Tempest)
  • Sigfodr (War)
